Sin-yu (辛酉, 신유) is the day pillar (일주 日柱, ilju) that puts Sin 辛, the Yin Metal Day Master, on Yu 酉, the Rooster. It is number 58 of the sixty-pillar cycle (육십갑자 六十甲子, yuksip-gapja), the second-last pair before the cycle returns to Gap-ja. Both characters are Yin Metal.
